Owen has been practicing law since 2006 and is a Partner in the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice Group. Owen is experienced in creditor’s rights practice, including complex commercial loan workouts and collections for regional and national banks, and also construction, commercial, and real estate litigation, including matters involving contract disputes, real estate litigation, mortgage foreclosure landlord/tenant, creditor's rights/bankruptcy litigation and corporate partnership disputes. Owen ranks among the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars in General Litigation, Business Litigation and Construction Litigation.

He is an active member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, formerly serving as the director of the Young Lawyers Division, where he started two networking events, “Lunch with the Judges,” where young lawyers would get the opportunity to have lunch with local Sarasota judges and judicial assistants and connect with them on a personal level outside the courtroom, and also “YLD Quick Chat,” an event that helps young attorneys network with each other and create referral systems.
