Adams and Reese Houston Associate Matthew Copeland, Partner Adam Massey and Special Counsel Evan Moeller have been named 2016 Texas Rising Stars® (by Thomson Reuters) in litigation. Selections to the regional list of top lawyers under 40 are based on peer nominations made by more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state of Texas. No more than 2.5 percent across the state are named to Rising Stars.

Copeland, recognized as a Rising Star® in General Litigation, joined Adams and Reese in 2015 and is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing large public companies, private businesses, and individuals in various commercial disputes and tort litigation.

Massey, recognized as a Rising Star® in Civil Litigation: Defense, joined Adams and Reese in 2008 as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group. His law practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation and tort litigation. This is his third consecutive year appearing on the Texas Rising Stars® list.

Moeller, recognized as a Rising Star® in Business Litigation, joined Adams and Reese in 2016 as Special Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group. He represents businesses and high net-worth individuals in business litigation, fiduciary litigation, financial services litigation, energy litigation, insurance litigation, and labor and employment litigation. This is Moeller’s third consecutive year appearing on the Texas Rising Stars® list.
