Adams and Reese is pleased to announce the firm has signed a lease to relocate its Nashville offices to the new, $540-million Broadwest development in Q4 2021. Broadwest is a mixed-use community located on a full city block on West End Avenue just west of downtown, where West End converges with Broadway.

Adams and Reese will occupy more than 25,000 square feet of Class AA space on the 14th floor of Broadwest’s 21-story office tower, which is under construction at 1600 West End Avenue. This new space is a model for the Adams and Reese office of the future in terms of location, size, functionality, and amenities for clients as well as our personnel.

“After undergoing a lengthy process assessing the evolving demands of our clients, the changes in the way people work, and advancements in technology, we considered a wide range of options around town, including remaining in our current location. In the end, we concluded that Broadwest was the perfect fit for us as we plan our office of the future. At Broadwest, we will have distinctive, functional, and convenient space that will allow us to transform the way we work and how we serve clients,” said Brad Lampley, Partner in Charge of the firm’s Nashville office.

“We are delighted to double down on our investment in Nashville and to join the exciting new development at Broadwest,” said Gif Thornton, Managing Partner of Adams and Reese. “Our decision to relocate our Nashville presence to Broadwest signifies our commitment to this market and taking full advantage of the expanding opportunities here.”

The firm’s new offices at Broadwest are designed with an emphasis on community and efficiency, including versatile shared spaces that allow for improved collaboration and flexibility for larger gatherings post-pandemic. The space will also feature technological upgrades that advance seamless client service on the firm’s regional platform across its 15 offices in eight states and Washington, D.C. Further, as with its current space, the firm’s space at Broadwest will have an outdoor terrace, allowing for spectacular views of downtown Nashville.

Designed by Cooper Carry architects, the Broadwest office tower is being built to LEED’s high standards and will open with first tenant occupancy in March 2021. The tower features a two-story atrium lobby; stunning 10-foot, floor-to-ceiling vision glass; the latest technology; and 24-hour on-site security.

“We are excited to welcome Adams and Reese to the office tower at Broadwest,” said Chris Brown, President of Propst Development. “Adams and Reese has built a reputation among peers and clients as a leading legal services and government relations provider, especially in Nashville. The firm is a great fit at Broadwest, and we are delighted to work with them in creating an outstanding long-term home to support their top-class work environment.”

David McRae, Tatum Flynn, and David Koziak of Savills represented Adams and Reese. Russell Harwell, a real estate Partner in Adams and Reese’s Nashville office, was also involved in lease negotiations. Ashley Albright and Bill Adair of JLL are the leasing agents for Broadwest office space.
