Adams and Reese Partner Tim Anzenberger, a commercial and bankruptcy litigator, has been selected among the 2022 “40 Under 40” by the American Bankruptcy Institute, honoring up-and-coming business professionals who demonstrate ability, leadership, and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.
A selection process by peers of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals within the ABI, the national organization will honor its “40 Under 40” class at a luncheon during the 2022 ABI Winter Leadership Conference, held Dec. 8-10 in La Quinta, Ca.
Anzenberger is an active ABI member, authoring articles for the ABI Journal and committee newsletters. He serves as co-chair of ABI’s Ethics and Professional Compensation Committee and sits on the advisory board for the ABI Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop.
Practicing in the Adams and Reese Jackson office, Anzenberger represents lenders in commercial restructuring and bankruptcy — defending preference actions, lender-liability claims and creditors in adversary proceedings, prosecuting objections to discharge, and pursuing fraudulent transfers. He represents the interests of financial institutions and creditors in bankruptcy cases, litigates in state and federal courts, and serves as an appellate litigator in financial services cases. Anzenberger is a member of the pro bono appellate programs for the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits.
Among his additional accolades, Anzenberger has been named by clients and peers among the Mid-South Rising Stars® (by Thomson Reuters), Best Lawyers® Ones to Watch, and Leadership in Law by Mississippi Business Journal.
Anzenberger earned his J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law, and he received his B.A. from North Carolina State University.
