Adams and Reese Government Relations Team Leader Brad A. Lampley has been named Partner in Charge of the firm’s Nashville office, which is headquartered in Fifth Third Center and home to nearly 50 attorneys and staff. Adams and Reese, a multidisciplinary law firm with offices in seven southern states and Washington, D.C., is ranked among the nation’s top 200 law firms.
In addition to his leadership in Nashville, Lampley heads the Adams and Reese Government Relations Team, one of the largest practice areas in the firm and a top ranked practice by Southern Political Report (2015).
“Brad has long been a firm leader who has built our Nashville office into a highly-respected force in the local business community and led our Government Relations Team with practicality and an eye for success,” said Adams and Reese Managing Partner Gif Thornton. “A well-respected leader within our firm and by our clients, he makes things happen and gets things done. He will continue to grow the Nashville office and our presence in the community and region.”
“I am honored to be selected to lead our firm in Nashville,” Lampley said. “We have a tremendous group of professionals, a great array of clients and a strong presence throughout the Southeast, and I look forward to strengthening our brand and continuing our growth in Tennessee.”
Lampley is a well-known figure throughout Tennessee and the region thanks to his successful government relations practice as well as his business and philanthropic service. Lampley currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, and also serves on the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees, the UT Athletics Board, and Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
Last month, Lampley was named to Nashville Post’s 2017 “InCharge” List in the Government and Politics category. He has appeared on the list each year since 2014. In 2009, Lampley was named to Nashville Business Journal’s inaugural class of “Top Forty Under 40.” He was also awarded a YP Nashville “Nashville Emerging Leader Award” in the Legal Services category in 2011.
Lampley received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Tennessee. Among his many academic honors, he was named Top Graduate of the College of Communications.
