The majority of construction defect and often construction accident cases include ancillary and minor player defendants. Often these are sub-contractors whose role is somewhat limited. However, settling out for a reasonable sum or obtaining a dismissal before significant expenditure of time is one of the challenges posed in construction litigation.
Jannea Rogers will join a roundtable discussion at the 2019 CLM Construction Conference, September 26 in San Diego. The panel will address exit strategies for the subcontractor or ancillary defendants in construction defect/accident litigation. Strategies with a focus on early resolution and dismissal will be discussed.
