Adams and Reese had 11 attorneys from its Jacksonville, Sarasota, St. Petersburg and Tampa offices named Florida Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2015, included in the Florida Super Lawyers magazine, to be published in July.

Tampa Partner Lynn Sherman was also named among the "Top 50: 2015 Women Florida Super Lawyers" and "Top 100: 2015 Tampa Bay Super Lawyers" in this year's rankings.

Only five percent of attorneys in Florida receive the honor of Super Lawyer. The selection process includes peer nomination and voting, review by a blue-ribbon panel and independent research. Rising Stars are lawyers who are 40 years old or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

The Adams and Reese Florida Super Lawyers include: David Bernstein (Real Estate), Jim Dickson (Construction/Surety, Construction Litigation, Environmental), Bob Gill (Eminent Domain, Business Litigation), Eric Partlow (Business Litigation), John Rogerson (Business Litigation, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights, Insurance Coverage), Lynn Welter Sherman (Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights), Tim Volpe (Business Litigation, Insurance Coverage) and Laura Whitmore (Insurance Coverage, Appellate, Civil Litigation).

The Adams and Reese Florida Rising Stars include: Marshall Moorhead (Business Litigation, Creditor Debtor Rights: Business and Banking), Ryan Owen (General Litigation, Business Litigation, Construction Litigation) and Caroline Prieto (Business Litigation).

Candidates for selection are evaluated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts, settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within law firm, bar and/or other professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background and other outstanding achievements.
