Adams and Reese Partner Angela Grewal has been elected 2024-25 Board Vice President of the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association.

At Adams and Reese, Grewal focuses her practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and commercial and business litigation. 

Grewal served as Secretary of the JBBA board in 2023-24. The group’s purpose is to provide a platform for professionals interested in bankruptcy law to connect, share knowledge, and foster discussions on the latest developments in the field. The association was founded before 1988 and began as the Bankruptcy Law Section of The Jacksonville Bar Association. It was incorporated as the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association in 1992.

The group’s signature event is the 30th annual full-day seminar, scheduled for Aug. 16 at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The event features presentations about deepfakes and the impact of AI on the courtroom and evidence; recent case updates with U.S. Bankruptcy Court Middle and Northern District of Florida judges; and two breakout tracks about Chapter 11 and Chapter 13.
