Adams and Reese Special Counsel Leslie A. Wickes, Partner in Charge of the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office, has been named to Florida Trend Magazine’s 2016 “Florida Legal Elite.” Now in its 13th year, the Florida Legal Elite is a prestigious roster of attorneys chosen for recognition by their peers. Attorneys named to the annual list exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession and practice area.
Wickes was named among the 2016 Florida Legal Elite in the Commercial Litigation category. Practicing law since 1993, Wickes focuses primarily in the area of business litigation. She handles matters involving contracting, corporate governance, employment and agency, trade practices and professional negligence. Wickes also handles litigation involving the formation, licensure, regulation and purchase/sale of insurance companies and insurance-related entities, including retail and wholesale brokers, claims administrators, managing general agencies and service providers.
