Adams and Reese Managing Partner Gif Thornton and Nashville-Music Row Partner in Charge Lynn Morrow have been named Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) 2016 “Best of the Bar” honorees. The 2016 NBJ “Best of the Bar” awards honor 79 of Middle Tennessee’s leading lawyers and corporate counsel across 17 practice areas. Thornton is recognized for his government practice while Morrow is honored for her media and entertainment practice.
Several Adams and Reese corporate counsel clients were also named to the NBJ “Best of the Bar” list in the Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel-Government categories. They include Carter Todd, Kirkland’s; Bob Watson, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority; and Michael Zylstra, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
Thornton and Morrow, along with their fellow “Best of the Bar,” honorees will be recognized at an awards cocktail reception June 2nd at Nashville’s City Winery. They will also be profiled in a June 10th NBJ “Best of the Bar” special publication.
NBJ “Best of the Bar” winners are determined through a two-month public nomination period followed by a closed peer voting process. The process is designed to identify the nominees who are truly best of the bar, according to their peers.
