Overview
Blaize Naman is a member of the Adams & Reese Intersection of Business and Government Practice. Based in the Mobile office, Blaize handles all the legal needs of his corporate clients at the convergence of business and regulatory issues.
Blaize represents clients before state and local government bodies and regulatory agencies. With an eye always towards economic development, Blaize also provides support to the legal needs of public-private partnerships and growth initiatives across the state of Alabama. Blaize gained legal experience, clerking and interning for several law firms in Alabama; United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama; U.S. Senate, Office of Senator Richard Shelby; and the University of Alabama Department of Intercollegiate Athletics as a legal compliance intern.
“Roll Tide” says Blaize as he has three degrees from The University of Alabama.
Blaize earned his J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he was President of the Student Bar Association; Senior Editor of the Law and Psychology Review; and a member of the UA Business Law Society, Federalist Society, Raise the Bar Mentoring Program, and the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. In his final semester, Blaize was selected to participate in the law school’s foreign exchange program with the University of the West of England in Bristol. He studied general international law, world trade organization law, and international financial crime, receiving a certificate from the school.
Blaize earned his M.B.A. from The University of Alabama, Manderson Graduate School of Business. He earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama, Culverhouse College of Commerce. He was a member of the Jasons Senior Men’s Honorary Society, Student Government Association, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, Collegiate Recovery Task Force, UA Health and Wellness Student Committee, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, Order of Omega Greek Senior Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
In the community, Blaize is a former member of the State of Alabama Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group, appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey. He is an active member St. Mary Catholic Parish and its chapter of the Men of St. Joseph.
