The Legal Marketing Association (LMA) selected Adams and Reese’s entry, “Feeling the Brees for Boys Hope/Girls Hope” as a third place winner in the Community Relations category of the Your Honor Awards, on April 15, at the LMA Annual Conference at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.

There were more than 170 entries in 16 categories this year with first, second, third and Honorable Mention awarded in each category.  The Drew Brees Foundation video project was successful in securing a $10,000 grant for Boys Hope/Girls Hope of New Orleans. The same entry won first place in October 2014 by the Legal Marketing Association Southeastern Chapter (LMASE) in the “Your Honor” Awards community relations category.

Adams and Reese volunteers helped with several renovations to the BHGH New Orleans home, repainting the home, landscaping, packing hurricane readiness bags, and cleaning the facility. The video of the volunteer day was joined by a nomination form consisting of an essay about and photos from the event. The event was part of the Adams and Reese employee volunteer program known as HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support), which for 25 years has donated time and financial resources to more than 200 organizations throughout the law firm’s regional footprint. The event was an opportunity to mesh marketing and the firm’s community relations efforts and garner a significant $10,000 grant to one of the charities Adams and Reese consistently helps in Boys Hope Girls Hope.

The LMA Your Honor Awards program recognizes excellence in legal marketing by promoting projects and programs that provide innovation and return on marketing dollar investment. The judges awarded first-, second-, third-place and honorable mention in 11 categories including identity, advertising, practice development and media relations.
