Adams and Reese attorneys Elizabeth A. Roussel and Johnny L. Domiano, Jr., have been named to New Orleans CityBusiness Newspaper’s 2016 “Leadership in Law” Class. Roussel and Domiano will be recognized along with their fellow honorees at a cocktail reception taking place May 16th at the New Orleans Museum of Art. They will also be featured in a special insert profiling all 2016 “Leadership in Law” honorees in the May 27th issue of New Orleans CityBusiness.
Roussel is a member of the Adams and Reese Executive Committee and a partner on the firm’s Litigation Practice Team. She focuses her practice on litigating commercial disputes, director and officer liability claims and employment claims. Roussel represents a wide variety of clients including financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, public entities, non-profit corporations, state agencies, private universities, public trusts and charter schools.
Roussel is a past chair of the board of directors for the Children’s Bureau of New Orleans, and she serves on the board of directors for Longue Vue House and Gardens. Roussel is a recognized Best Lawyer® in employment law – management and commercial litigation. In 2011, she was named to New Orleans CityBusiness Newspaper’s “Women of the Year” Class. She is also a graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (2013-2014).
Domiano serves as Partner in Charge of the Adams and Reese New Orleans office and is a partner on the firm’s Litigation Practice Team. He focuses his law practice on commercial litigation, D&O liability, energy and maritime, product liability, securities litigation, franchise and shareholder disputes, and general casualty. Domiano also assists clients in the development of risk management programs and represents clients in the oil and maritime industries in defense of personal injury and death, pollution, and property damage claims.
Domiano is a past chair of the American Bar Association’s Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee. In the New Orleans community, he serves on the Jefferson Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber’s Executive Committee, and serves as Chair of the Chamber’s Government Committee. Domiano is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Jefferson.
