Adams and Reese Partner and Executive Committee Chair Clarence Wilbon ranks among the “Top 50 Law Firm Executives of 2023” by the annual Attorney Intel report recognizing leaders at law firms across the globe.
“Whether it’s offering expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, or providing clear strategies for transactional matters and regulatory compliance, these top legal minds not only advise their own clients, but also guide their partnerships comprised of thousands of attorneys,” writes the editors at Attorney Intel. “Notably, this year’s list of leaders represents some of the most influential legal organizations in the world.”
In 2023, Wilbon was elected EC Chair of Adams and Reese, a multidisciplinary AmLaw 200 and NLJ 500 law firm with more than 300 attorneys and advisors across 20 U.S. offices. He was the first African American to be elected in the Firm’s leadership role. He has enjoyed a successful 24-year litigation practice with a focus on financial services and products liability. Wilbon is the former co-chair of the ABA Banking and Lender Liability Litigation Subcommittee.
Wilbon formerly served as the Adams and Reese DEI Chair, leading the charge for the firm to achieve Mansfield Certification, MCCA Silver Accreditation, and implementing several career pipeline, advancement, and mentorship programs for minority attorneys and law students.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and received his B.A. from Arkansas State University.
