Overview
Alex Brinson is a member of the Adams & Reese Litigation Practice Group and an attorney in the firm’s Nashville office. Licensed in Tennessee and Illinois, Alex primarily practices in commercial litigation areas that include products liability, insurance defense, and class action/complex litigation. Prior to joining Adams & Reese, Alex specialized in insurance defense, insurance coverage, coverage litigation, and fidelity and surety litigation at prominent firms in Nashville and Chicago.
Alex represents clients through the entire litigation process, including pleadings, witness interviews, depositions, motion hearings, trials, mediations, settlement negotiations, and declaratory judgment actions, including alternative dispute resolution.
In 2024, Alex was asked to speak at the Midwest Surety & Construction Claims Conference, where he presented on “Ownership/Covered Property Under First Party (i.e. Fidelity) Coverage and Allocation of Liability for Forged or Altered Checks.”
Alex earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he graduated cum laude and earned a Litigation and ADR Certificate. He received Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs – Management from Indiana University, where he received a Certificate of Business Foundations from the Kelley School of Business.
