I consider myself to be a highly ambitious person with a strong work ethic and passion for business. My experience in accounting and bankruptcy law has made me an excellent problem-solver, and I am eager to use my skills to meet all of my clients’ needs.

Allison Nelson is a member of the Adams and Reese Litigation Practice, assisting the group’s attorneys on the representation of clients across a wide range of industries.

Allison is experienced in all stages of the litigation process, from inception of any matter and consultation with clients, to the resolution of the case and situation tailored to assisting the legal needs of a business.

Allison is a former summer associate for Adams and Reese. In addition, she externed for the Hon. Karen Specie in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida, and she was an intern for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Public Defender’s Office. Through these law clerk experiences, Allison shadowed attorneys and judicial officials on various procedural legal issues, receiving experience in legal research, motions, investigative projects, client interviews, and depositions.

Allison earned her J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. She served as Managing Editor of the Florida State University Business Review, Volume 22, and as a staff editor for the law school’s Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. In addition, she was a member of the FSU Law Moot Court, participating in brief writing and oral advocacy competitions around the United States. Allison was a board member of the FSU Law School Council, FSU Law LitiGators, and Law Association for Criminal Justice.

A bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Florida, Allison was formerly an assurance intern for Ernst & Young. Allison assisted a team in the audit of a financial services client, and she worked on the team that researched, created, and implemented a plan detailing changes EY offices needed to adjust the workplace in the after-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Allison earned an EY Badge in cybersecurity.
