Businesses are owned and operated by individual human beings who want nothing more than to make a living for themselves and their families, and when their companies are faced with litigation threats, that litigation has real results on those individuals’ lives. I enjoy providing the individuals behind the business with the peace of mind that they will be meaningfully represented when the time comes that they are named in a lawsuit.

Brandon Lawson is an Associate in the Adams and Reese Mobile office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Within his litigation practice, Brandon has experience across a wide variety of areas, including the representation of insurance carriers; general contractors in construction law; and various businesses in general liability claims.

Brandon handles hearings in front of various courts, including the Supreme Court of Alabama, where he successfully argued the appeal of arbitration awards in a contractor and condominium association litigation dispute.

Active within the legal profession, Brandon is a board member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association Young Lawyers Section, District IV, elected to a three-year term from 2022-2024.

Brandon previously clerked for the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office in which he researched legal issues involving constitutional rights and criminal procedure and shadowed prosecuting attorneys in trial proceedings.

Receiving his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Brandon was a Federal Haley Trial Competition Finalist and Donworth Moot Court Competition Semi-Finalist. He served as President of the Air and Space Law Society.

Brandon earned his B.S. in Political Science from the University of South Alabama. He was President and Founding Member of the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, and Vice President of the Kappa Alpha Order, Epsilon Alpha Chapter.
