Overview
Brian Oblow is a trial attorney with over 25 years of experience. In addition to representing clients in all aspects of litigation, he serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association, and as a circuit civil mediator certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
Brian is board certified construction law by The Florida Bar and is recognized by his peers among Florida Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers® in Construction Law. Brian’s practice primarily focuses on representing contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, and owners in a wide variety of construction and commercial litigation matters, including construction defect and negligence claims, contract disputes, lien and bond claims, insurance coverage issues, landlord/tenant matters, as well as contract and other document review and drafting.
Brian is the former Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Inn of Court and currently serves as co-chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Subcommittee and as an active member of the Construction Litigation Subcommittee of the Real Property and Probate Law section of the Florida Bar.
Brian was born in Port Jefferson, New York, and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the University of Florida in 1995 and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1999.
