Caroline J. Levine

Caroline Levine represents some of the most prominent names in the U.S. and global banking and financial services industry, including national and regional banks, private equity firms, private lenders, credit unions, financial services entities, mortgage servicers, consumer and commercial lenders, online payment processors, investors, credit card issuers, and commercial debt buying and collection professionals. She builds long-term client relationships through clear communication and a deep understanding of financial institutions’ business objectives.

Caroline’s practice spans commercial lending, where she structures and prepares loan documents for financial services clients, and distressed loans, including the bank’s role in borrower bankruptcies. She represents lenders and debt servicers in residential and commercial foreclosure actions and suits on notes and guarantees. She also advises clients on garnishments, levies, freeze orders, and civil and criminal subpoenas. As a judicial intern for the Honorable Jacob A. Brown and the Honorable Jason A. Burgess at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, Caroline gained deep insight into bankruptcy proceedings and the challenges facing debtors and lenders.
