Staying in tune with the business, economics and trends of the construction and roofing industry are critical to our clients. My passion for practicing law and the ability to advise them through the complexities of changing regulations offer our clients the resources and solutions they need to thrive in the industry

Christie Coston practices primarily in construction law, including construction defect litigation, lien and bond law, contract review and drafting, OSHA defense, contractor licensing defense and building code violation defense.

Christie is recognized by her peers among Best Lawyers® Ones to Watch in Construction Law. She is a current Tampa Council board member for National Women in Roofing.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Christie gained invaluable legal experience working in the financial industry as one of the top trial witnesses for a large financial institution. From there, she went on to intern for both the debt relief clinic at her law school, as well as the state attorney’s office for Hillsborough County.

A Florida native, born and raised in Tampa, Christie has strong ties to the community and the construction industry. Her introduction to the construction and roofing industry began at an early age with her father working in roofing distribution for over 40 years, and her brother working in roofing distribution and as a contractor for over 10 years. Christie has used her family’s business background and experience to assist her construction clients.
