In my diversified and evolving practice, I serve a broad swath of clients, from community neighbors to Fortune 500 companies.

Christopher Earle is an Associate in Adams and Reese’s Jacksonville office. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and represents clients across several industries, including: Healthcare, Banking, Secured Transactions, Real Estate, and Bankruptcy.

Chris began his legal career serving clients pro bono with the Richmond Community Tax Law Project in Richmond. After moving to Florida, Chris spent a semester teaching high school AP U.S. History before serving two years as a Trial Attorney for the Office of the Public Defender, Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee. He has previous private sector experience with both a national creditors’ rights and real estate legal services law firm, and with a Florida insurance defense firm where he concentrated primarily on medical malpractice matters. 

Chris earned his J.D. from William & Mary Law School and received a holistic merit scholarship. While studying law in Williamsburg, he worked full-time as a Graduate Fellow for the Wolf Law Library’s Technical Services & Special Collections Research Center. Chris was selected as an Honors Scholar for the Center of the Study of Law and Markets, competed for the school’s alternative dispute resolution team, and was elected President of the Student Environmental and Animal Law Society.

His article on interstate natural gas pipelines was selected for publication by William & Mary’s Environmental Law & Policy Review Journal and has been cited by numerous energy policy publications. Chris’s legal internships included time as an Antitrust Intern with Florida’s Office of the Attorney General, and as an Honors Law Clerk for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC. 

Christopher received his B.A. with Honors in Economics from Wake Forest University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a Senior Fellow for The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, graduated summa cum laude, and double majored in History. He served as a mock trial President, mentored as a resident adviser, and studied abroad in 12 European countries. While in college, Chris was initiated as a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha and completed an Executive Stores Internship for Target Corporation.

  • Negotiated and defended numerous policy limit medical malpractice and premises liability insurance claims to settlement. 
  • Litigated in multiple trials with not guilty criminal jury verdicts in both County and Circuit Court, including a not guilty criminal jury verdict in the first trial held in Leon County following the onset of COVID-19 and closure of the state courts.  
  • Obtained numerous seven-figure final judgments in residential foreclosure bench trials.  
  • Litigated before all 20 Florida Circuit Courts.
