Overview

Chris is an experienced litigator whose practice addresses multiple issues including, but not limited to, commercial construction defects, suretyship, employment disputes, toxic tort, property casualty, and commercial litigation. Due to his diverse array of experiences, Chris has developed a versatile and dynamic approach when addressing the concerns of his clients.

Clients appreciate Chris’s availability, responsiveness, and ability to quickly make an honest evaluation of a matter. Chris encourages his clients to call him about pre-litigation matters in hopes that he can advise them on how to resolve those matters and avoid litigation.

However, in cases where litigation is inevitable, Chris is a skilled tactician. He has extensive motion practice before Louisiana state and federal courts where he succinctly advocates for his clients. From drafting initial pleadings, managing discovery, and taking depositions, Chris handles all aspects of litigation prior to trial. Chris is also an effective deal maker and has resolved several matters through mediation. Through his experiences, Chris is a thoughtful, effective communicator whose involvement breeds collaboration and problem solving.

Chris is recognized by clients and peers among Louisiana Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” in Construction Litigation.

Chris is among a prestigious group of up-and-coming attorneys across the nation participating in MCCA’s 2025 C-Suite Leadership Level 1 Program Cohort. Chris is also part of the ABA TIPS Fidelity and Surety Subcommittee’s Emerging Leaders and Leadership Academy programs, and he was a Pathfinder in the LCLD Class of 2024.

Chris, a New Orleans native and who comes from a family of basketball players, was a student athlete at Loyola University New Orleans. He played four years for the Wolfpack basketball team while receiving his B.A. in Political Science.

In the community, Chris is a board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Louisiana chapter.
