While studying law at the University of Tennessee, Claire received the prestigious CALI Award for Legal Process and Trademark Law as well as receiving the Merchant and Gould Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property (a faculty-nominated award). She was also a member of Law Women and participated in the University of Tennessee’s Transactional Law Clinic, where she worked pro bono to assist clients with copyright and trademark applications as well as assisting artists seeking to sell their artwork online.
In the Nashville community, Claire is dedicated to her pro bono service in assisting songwriters with various music publishing and copyright needs.
