Drew F. Chesanek focuses primarily on civil litigation, including construction-law, landlord/tenant, real property, maritime, and contract disputes. He has taken various cases to trial and to verdict and has also briefed and argued numerous appeals. Specifically, Drew specializes in Maritime Jones Act claims, arresting vessels, construction lien foreclosures, construction defects, evictions, and real property title issues ranging from boundary line disputes to easements and curing clouds on title.
Admitted to practice in both State and Federal Court, Drew is comfortable and experienced in either venue and enjoys the challenge that comes with oral advocacy.
Having grown up on the west coast of Florida, in the community Drew is an active member involved in numerous volunteer organizations aimed at supporting small or local businesses, underprivileged children, local disaster relief, and preserving Florida’s coastline. A former commercial fisherman by trade, it is no surprise in his spare time Drew enjoys fishing, boating and exploring new waterways with his wife and children.
