Garrett Zoghby

Garrett Zoghby has defended transportation companies, premises owners, construction companies, electric utility companies, aviation owners/operators, and professionals such as engineers, land surveyors, doctors, nurses, mental health practitioners, and attorneys. Garrett has successfully litigated and resolved complex personal injury claims arising out of trucking /transportation, medical malpractice, and industrial accidents.

Garrett regularly represents counties, municipalities, governmental agencies, and public officials in state and federal courts throughout Alabama. His civil defense practice includes representing law enforcement officers and agencies in actions brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, as well as defending governmental entities in a wide range of constitutional, qualified immunity, and civil litigation matters.

He is an experienced practitioner and routinely handles matters in both state court and federal court. Garrett has earned the designation of CLMP, Certified Litigation Management Professional, from the Litigation Management Institute.

Garrett has an active voice within the local legal profession and community. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Paul W. Brock American Inn of Court, the Executive Committee of the Mobile Bar Association Young Lawyers section, and previously served as chairman of the Mobile Bar Association Entertainment Committee (2020 to 2025). Garrett serves as an Ambassador for the Mobile Chamber of Commerce. Garrett was a part of the 2023 Class of Leadership Mobile and has also served on the Senior Bowl Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Child Advocacy Center and Rapahope. He is a member of Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) and a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI).
