My clients view me as their problem-solver in a wide variety of government relations matters. I am dedicated to their success and apply my years of experience in this field to any and all of their needs.

Gina Dearborn represents a variety of clients before the Alabama legislature and executive branch — everything from major tech companies to automobile manufacturing. Gina is a seasoned lobbyist and her extensive experience in the field of politics benefits her clients, thanks to her connections, long-term relationships, and ability to build coalitions and drive consensus.

Gina focuses on developing and executing programs that yield desired results for clients in Alabama, whether educating legislators and other state and local officials about client’s interests, promoting positive legislation, or defeating negative legislation that will adversely impact the client.

Gina began her career on Capitol Hill as a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Richard Shelby. Upon leaving Washington, D.C., she served as Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Alabama Rural Electric Association of Cooperatives from 1995 until 2000, where she was a political advocate for the association both in Montgomery and in Washington, D.C.

Gina took her federal and state experience and in 2000 began her private governmental affairs practice. This allowed her to work with an extensive variety of businesses and organizations. Specifically, she has been able to offer clients with national interests the tools to make their business work in Alabama. Clients rely on Gina for her ability to understand their businesses, challenges, and operations, and how legislative advocacy can help them achieve their goals.
