Isaac M. Segura

Isaac Segura is an associate in the Adams & Reese Corporate Services practice group, based in the firm’s Houston office. Isaac focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers across a wide range of industries. His experience spans asset sales, equity sales, and platform acquisitions involving private equity sponsors, closely held companies, and strategic buyers and sellers. Isaac leads deal execution, including structuring transactions, drafting and negotiating principal documents, managing multi-jurisdictional diligence, coordinating ancillary deliverables, and managing specialists. Isaac also regularly assists companies with entity formation, strategic restructuring, and day-to-day corporate governance.

Isaac also maintains an active real estate practice, representing clients in commercial acquisitions, dispositions, leasing transactions, and real estate development.

In addition to M&A and real estate, Isaac assists law firms and investors on the structuring, formation, and operation of Management Services Organizations (MSOs) in the legal services sector. His work in this space includes platform formation, management services agreement negotiation, multi-state regulatory compliance, governance frameworks that preserve professional independence, and the operational infrastructure required to support scalable legal platforms.

Isaac received his J.D. from the South Texas College of Law Houston, where he served as an Articles Editor for the South Texas Law Review, was named “Articles Editor of the Year,” received the Dean Elizabeth Dennis Award for Distinguished Service, and graduated as a member of the Order of the Lytae. Isaac earned his B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish, from Rhodes College, where he received the Mike Cody Award, recognizing an undergraduate who embodies future legal success and service.
