A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Josh advanced his legal education by serving as a research assistant to Prof. Ben Barton. In this role, he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on technology’s role in enhancing access to the justice system, the history of the law review and class rankings, and analyzed the readability of Dobbs and Brown. He also edited written work to ensure precision, clarity, and cohesiveness. Notably, he also served as Executive Editor of the Tennessee Law Review, was a Teaching Assistant in Torts I & Torts II classes and won the CALI award: Transactional Clinic. He was also named co-champion of Baylor Law School’s prestigious The Closer National Transactional Law Competition, one of the most selective and demanding competitions in the country.
As an undergraduate at the University of South Florida, Josh participated as a mentor in the USF Transfer Engagement & Achievement Mentorship Program, in which he supported transfer students by connecting them with USF resources and campus offerings.
Josh looks forward to becoming active in the Nashville legal community through the local and state bar associations, as well as engaging in pro bono work and community service initiatives.
