Overview

Lauren Baio Pultro is a Partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Adams & Reese, where she concentrates her practice in Financial Services, which spans commercial restructuring, bankruptcy, and complex commercial litigation. She brings a distinctive blend of law firm and in-house experience to her work, advising lenders and businesses across the full lifecycle of distressed commercial credit, from workout negotiations through Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies nationwide. Lauren also manages small commercial loan asset management programs for a range of banking clients and routinely handles litigation arising from failed restructurings.

Before joining Adams & Reese, Lauren served as in-house counsel at Sodexo, Inc., a Fortune Global 500 company with a worldwide footprint in food, beverage, and facilities management services. She handled the organization's bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters and gained firsthand perspective on the business imperatives that drive corporate decision-making. Earlier in her career, Lauren practiced at GrayRobinson, P.A. in its Washington, D.C. and Tampa offices, where she represented financial institutions, businesses, and governmental entities in bankruptcy, debt workout, and commercial litigation.

Lauren is an engaged leader in the restructuring and the broader legal community. She serves as Co-Chair of the D.C. Network for the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and was recently elected to the Board of the Stetson Lawyers Alumni Association, working for the advancement of the law school and serving the law school in an advisory capacity. She also mentors Stetson Law Review students and serves as a practice judge for Stetson's Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition teams. Committed to service beyond her profession, Lauren volunteers with Three Rivers Legal Services, Last Chance Ranch, and is active with the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C.
