Overview

Ronny Legare is a member of the Adams & Reese Litigation Practice Group and an Associate in the Tampa office. Ronny represents clients in a diverse range of industries and disputes, from breach of contract matters to product liability, construction disputes of many types, and beyond.

Ronny prides himself on providing care and personal attention to every client as together they develop strategies for both avoiding litigation and pursuing it when necessary. Ronny believes that only through carefully listening to clients and understanding their business objectives as thoroughly as possible can he help identify and execute the right solutions. An important skill for any litigator, explaining complex legal issues in an understandable way is a strength Ronny believes he brings to his engagements.

Through his summer clerkships and summer associate roles at two law firms, including Adams & Reese, Ronny had the opportunity to draft motions and internal memoranda, draft motions and demand letters, and extensively research issues in corporate transaction and commercial litigation, as well as observing hearings, depositions, client interviews, and trials.

As an intern for the Hon. Adrian Soud, Ronny helped prepare the judge for his daily court hearings and assisted in a pre-arrest diversion program known as “teen court” and another pre-arrest diversion program known as “Duval County Neighborhood Accountability Boards,” with the goal of repairing harm resulting from crime.

As a law student at Stetson University College of Law, Ronny was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and served as Marketing Editor for the Stetson Law Review. In addition, he helped teach contracts law, remedies, and business entities as a teaching assistant to the professors in those classes. During all three years at Stetson, Ronny was a representative of the Student Bar Association and served as chair of the Alumni Committee.

As an undergraduate at Florida State University, Ronny received numerous academic honors and participated on the mock trial team. He also became certified as a Certified Financial Peer Mentor in Tallahassee and worked with college students as an Undergraduate Financial Peer Mentor (August 2021- May 2022).
