Skye J. Fox

Skye Fox is a member of the Litigation Practice Group, where she advises clients on a variety of matters and disputes. Her practice approach involves thorough research and practical legal strategies. She is committed to distilling complex information into clear, compelling arguments and delivering effective written and oral advocacy on behalf of each client.

Before joining Adams & Reese, Skye served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Virginia M. Kendall of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In that role, she conducted in-depth legal research and helped draft motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and judicial opinions. Her federal court experience gave her valuable insight into courtroom procedure, judicial decision-making, and effective litigation strategies and arguments. Skye also served as a judicial intern for Judge Tiffany Baker-Carper of Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit. During that time, she drafted court orders, particularly in family law matters involving divorce, custody, and probate, and gained an early understanding of judicial reasoning, courtroom advocacy, and legal decision-making.

While completing her J.D. at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Skye served as President of the Law Transfer Student Organization, a clinician with the UF Law Immigration Pro-Bono Clinic, a Levin Ambassador, and a GatorLaw mentor. She also served as a staff member of the Florida Law Review and founded the Florida Law Running Club. Prior to law school, Skye earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Florida State University, with a major in English and a minor in Political Science.
