Taylor LeDuff is an Associate in the Adams and Reese Baton Rouge office, practicing primarily in insurance, litigation, and education matters impacting HBCUs. In addition, Taylor is experienced in financial services and utilities/telecommunications.
Taylor’s insurance practice is comprised of defending insurance companies in a variety of litigation, including personal injury defense, property damage disputes arising out of the construction industry (including bad faith), regulatory compliance, and professional liability.
From the inception of any matter to its resolution, Taylor is well-versed in all stages of litigation. Her multifaceted litigation work has included representing clients in the areas of labor and employment, residential and commercial contractor disputes, and disputes between regulated entities and the Louisiana Department of Insurance.
Taylor is a member of several national and local leadership programs – Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Pathfinders, AdvanceLaw Diversity Mentorship, and Leadership Baton Rouge.
Prior to joining Adams and Reese, Taylor was a law clerk for the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, where she managed a diverse caseload of civil suits. Taylor also has prior experience as a docket clerk with the Orleans Parish Civil Sheriff’s Office.
A 2020 graduate of Southern University Law Center, Taylor ranked third in her class. During her matriculation, she was Parliamentarian of the Moot Court Board, a member of the National Black Law Students Association, and a Senior Editor for the Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty. She received her undergraduate degree in Marketing from LSU in 2016.
Taylor was inspired to practice law by her grandfather Nils R. Douglas, one of the founders of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society of Louisiana, the precursor to the nearly 70-year-old Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, Inc.
