Overview
Taylor LeDuff focuses her practice on commercial litigation and insurance law, representing clients in a wide range of insurance-related matters, including insurance litigation and regulatory issues. She is also experienced in defending employment-related litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims.
Within her insurance law practice, Taylor advises clients on insurance regulatory matters, guiding companies through Louisiana’s regulatory framework. She assists both startup insurers with corporate formation, obtaining certificates of authority, and navigating initial regulatory processes, as well as established insurers in maintaining compliance with Louisiana laws. Taylor handles disputes between regulated entities and the Louisiana Department of Insurance, including administrative litigation related to license revocations, fines, and other regulatory communications.
Taylor represents clients in disputes involving their claim management obligations including their duties to investigate, defend, settle, and handle claims. Taylor defends claims brought against a variety of professionals including lawyers, doctors, engineers, insurance agents, and real estate appraisers. At all stages of litigation, Taylor partners with her clients to achieve results that align with their goals.
