Overview
After spending close to a decade solving legal problems for aviation companies, Tyler Conklin has developed a distinguished practice representing a wide variety of industry stakeholders, with a primary focus on compliance, certification, safety, and enforcement.
Tyler advises clients across the full lifecycle of regulatory matters and works proactively to identify, address, and mitigate risk before it escalates. She also brings significant experience conducting and advising on complex investigations, including regulatory inquiries and sensitive internal matters, helping clients respond effectively while minimizing legal and operational risk. Drawing on her years of experience, Tyler understands the global risks clients face in the highly regulated international aviation and aerospace sector and is uniquely positioned to help clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks while supporting their operational needs and business objectives.
Prior to joining Adams & Reese, Tyler served as in-house counsel at Atlas Air, Inc., where she was the legal focal for the Flight Operations Department of the leading international cargo airline. In her role, Tyler advised senior leaders and worked closely with global outside counsel to navigate complex compliance matters, manage high-stakes projects, and support the business and operational needs of the company.
Tyler earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, receiving an Energy and Environmental Law Certificate. Tyler was a judicial intern for the Hon. Alfred Covello, Senior U.S. District Judge for the District of Connecticut. While in law school, Tyler worked in the legal department of a major aerospace manufacturer.
Tyler received her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies at Pittsburg State University. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University in Russia, earning a certificate in Russian Language.
