Mission Accomplished: Top Takeaways from Vets to Ventures in 2025
Published: Jan 14, 2026
After a year of growth in 2025 and the celebration of Vets to Ventures’ second anniversary, we look ahead in 2026 with a continued commitment to delivering a tactical toolkit of resources focused on essential legal protections and strategic business planning to help translate military discipline into commercial success.
This year’s articles covered a range of “mission-ready” knowledge, including safeguarding your enterprise with strategies such as liability insurance, commercial lease negotiations, and intellectual property protection, and navigating critical regulatory landscapes, such as veteran employment rights and federal remote work exemptions for military spouses. We also offered guidance on the business lifecycle, including how to draft ironclad contracts and execute mission-critical steps for a successful exit strategy when selling a business.
Beyond the practical frameworks, we brought you stories of people behind the mission – veteran business owners and veteran nonprofits who work every day to assist our service members. We shared inspiring success stories, like that of Green Beret entrepreneur Jason Van Camp and his businesses, Mission Six Zero and Warrior Rising, and how a veteran-owned AI company earned the first and only hallucination-free, fully explainable AI system patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. We explored why business-friendly states, such as Texas, are top destinations for veteran entrepreneurs. We highlighted personal journeys of veterans-turned-leaders, featuring our own attorneys in a special Veterans Day piece. These stories remind us of how service continues to shape success in the legal and business professions.
From our A&R veterans and our firm, we hope you had a great holiday season! Thank you for reading and for letting us be part of your journey. We are excited to continue Vets to Ventures into 2026 and beyond.
