Mathews Discusses Legislative Process on IADC's “Making the Sausage” Podcast

Adams & Reese Partner Kellen Mathews was a guest on an IADC Speaks podcast, “Making the Sausage,” in which the show discussed the legislative process, from legislative counseling to lobbying to state policy making. Mathews offered an inside look at recent Louisiana bills that have been passed by state legislature and also trends that are appearing in different states.
The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) interviewed both Mathews and Pamela Bracher, Deputy General Counsel of the American Trucking Associations. Bracher has 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, defending truck drivers and motor carriers in highway accidents and cargo litigation. The ATA is the largest and most comprehensive national trade association for the trucking industry.
Mathews and Bracher were joined by IADC Speaks podcast host Jimmy Ordeneaux, a Partner with the law firm of Plauché Maselli Parkerson. The IADC is a preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
