Adams and Reese attorneys Tom Dart and Eric Partlow have been recognized in the 2021 edition of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.

The annual publication recognizes top attorneys in the state by practice area through a voting process that calls upon all members of The Florida Bar to name attorneys they hold in high regard or would recommend to others.

At Adams and Reese, Dart focuses on business law, including construction-related matters. He advises large and small companies, including physician groups and other healthcare-related entities, accounting firms and a variety of other businesses in commercial matters. He also represents financial institutions in commercial loan workouts, loan restructurings and lender liability claims. In addition, he handles complex commercial litigation matters, corporate governance issues, employment litigation, construction-related matters and other business disputes, with extensive experience with restrictive covenants. With more than 40 years of experience litigating cases and helping clients addressing business-related problems, Dart has gained the acumen to help companies and institutions facing a host of issues and conflicts.

Partlow regularly represents clients in a wide range of business contexts, including intellectual property, trade secrets, trucking accident defense and other complex commercial litigation matters. Partlow serves as a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation and Class Action teams. He is admitted in all state and federal courts in Florida as well as the Eleventh Circuit and the Eastern District of Michigan.

As pro bono chair for the firm’s Tampa office, Partlow is dedicated to helping the community in which he practices — and helping the other attorneys make a difference as well. Under his leadership, the firm has made a significant impact by assisting victims of domestic violence and collaborating with a local health program, among other charitable efforts. In addition, Partlow is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Tampa, a nine-month leadership course organized by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce that identifies and develops future leaders in the region.
