Adams and Reese Partner Billy Wright has been selected to the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute Class of 2024.

Wright continues a long list of Adams and Reese attorneys who have participated in the NORLI program.

NORLI’s regional leadership program educates and connects leaders from across southeast Louisiana and has brought together some of the most influential and dynamic leaders in the region to discuss key challenges and opportunities for the Greater New Orleans area. Discussion topics include public policy, education, economic development, diversity and equity, criminal justice, environmental sustainability, art and culture, and health care.

At Adams and Reese, Wright focuses on professional liability, management liability, employment, and general insurance defense. He devotes the remainder of his practice to a wide array of litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, and disputes pertaining to successions, wills, and trusts. He has successfully represented clients at each level of Louisiana’s state and federal court system, as well as before administrative bodies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), across a broad spectrum of legal issues.

He has been recognized among Louisiana’s “Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers and “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers. In the New Orleans community, Wright sits on the board of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, which attracts and manages sporting events generating a positive impact on the New Orleans economy.

Wright earned his J.D. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and received his B.S. from LSU. While in law school, he interned for both the Honorable Kurt D. Engelhardt in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and in the Litigation Department for the New Orleans City Attorney.
