Adams & Reese Financial Services Partner Lauren Baio Pultro has been named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) “40 Under 40” for 2026. The annual recognition honors outstanding bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring professionals under the age of 40.

Founded in 1982, ABI is the largest multidisciplinary, nonpartisan insolvency research and education organization, with nearly 10,000 members, including attorneys, financial professionals, judges, academics, and turnaround specialists. ABI launched its “40 Under 40” program in 2017 to recognize rising leaders whose accomplishments and service have made a meaningful impact on the bankruptcy and insolvency community. Each October, a steering committee of longtime ABI members and past honorees selects the 40 honorees, who are formally recognized at ABI's Winter Leadership Conference in December.

Based in Adams & Reese’s Washington, DC office, Pultro is licensed to practice in multiple states and before U.S. district and bankruptcy courts. Her practice focuses on commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, and commercial litigation, with extensive experience handling debt workouts and litigation for lenders, businesses, and government entities. She also writes on bankruptcy-related topics and has been published in the ABI Bankruptcy Litigation Committee newsletter.

In addition to this recognition, Pultro was recently elected to the Stetson Lawyers Alumni Association Board. She serves as the DC Network Co-Chair of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and as the Communications Chair of the ABI Commercial Fraud Committee. Pultro also mentors Stetson law students, serves as a practice judge for Duberstein moot court teams, and provides pro bono services through Three Rivers Legal Services.

Adams & Reese congratulates Pultro on being named to ABI's “40 Under 40” for 2026. Her recognition among ABI’s rising bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring professionals reflects her continued commitment to leadership and legal excellence.
