Overview

Elizabeth Coman is a member of the Litigation Practice Group, where she represents clients in a broad range of matters and disputes. She is committed to building strong client relationships and believes in delivering practical, results-oriented legal strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives.

Prior to joining Adams & Reese, Elizabeth gained valuable experience through legal internships, drafting memoranda and other documents in both litigation and transactional matters. She also interned with the Felony Division of the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office. During that time, she compiled discovery documents, developed and reinforced a detailed set of documents used by prosecutors, and researched standards and regulations.

As a law student at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Elizabeth was named a William L. Crowe Sr. Scholar and an Ignatian Scholar. She served as the Managing Substance and Citation Editor for the Loyola Law Review and received the Loyola Law Review Editorial Board Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Law Review Candidate. She also served as a Moot Court staff member and received the J. Skelly Wright Award for Exceptional Oral Ability in the Moot Court intramural competition, where she placed first.

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Politics, with a minor in Law, Justice, and Society, from Washington and Lee University. Together, her undergraduate focus on the intersection of law and public policy and her distinguished law school achievements at Loyola reflect a deep and sustained commitment to the study and practice of law that has carried forward throughout her legal career.
