Kenneth A. “Kenny” Bingham advises clients on government relations matters in South Carolina and Washington, D.C. With 20 years of elected government service, Kenny has a deep knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and state procurement processes. He understands how to navigate the complex relationships across local, state, and federal government. His experience as a legislator, which included leadership roles as House Majority Leader, Chairman of the House Ethics Committee, Chairman of Ways and Means Public Education and Special Schools Budget Subcommittee, Chairman of Labor, Commerce and Industry Insurance Subcommittee, and member of the Joint Bond Review Committee has well prepared him to assist his clients.

Kenny brings a wealth of legislative, strategic, and business knowledge to aid clients in accomplishing their goals. He has extensive experience in the areas of economic development, education, state budgeting, tax policy, procurement, health care, health insurance, energy, and municipal government. Kenny’s engineering background gives him the ability to quickly process, understand, and explain highly technical, complicated, and data driven issues. Kenny has successfully represented a wide range of clients at all levels of government.

A successful businessman, Kenny is a licensed professional engineer and co-owner of American Engineering Consultants, Inc., which is based in his hometown of Cayce, SC.
