Overview

Patrick Calhoun is a member of the Adams & Reese Litigation Practice Group and an Associate in the New Orleans office.

Patrick represents clients in commercial disputes and civil procedure across a wide variety of matters ranging from contract issues to medical and legal malpractice defense, premises liability, employment litigation, property disputes, and more. He is experienced not only in tracking legislative matters and their effects on compliance, but also in business consulting.

Patrick formerly clerked as a summer associate for Adams & Reese, where he gained important experience drafting memoranda and other documents as well as compiling and summarizing bills passed by the Louisiana legislature.

As a law student at Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Patrick graduated with honors and served as a Development Editor and Junior Associate for the Louisiana Law Review, also writing an article for the Journal about the financing of lawsuits.

In the New Orleans community, Patrick was a former advancement intern with Habitat for Humanity, where he communicated with disadvantaged business enterprises in the Greater New Orleans area, validated contractors as approved vendors, and facilitated fundraising efforts.
