Taylor Phuong-Anh Smith is an attorney in the Adams & Reese Litigation Practice based in Houston, Texas, and is licensed to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. She represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of litigation and advisory matters, providing practical and strategic counsel tailored to her clients’ unique needs and objectives.

Taylor’s practice includes commercial litigation, labor and employment disputes, class action litigation, and data breach and privacy-related matters. Drawing on her background in Business Data Analytics and Statistics, she is particularly skilled at analyzing complex datasets and technical issues that arise in litigation, including matters involving cybersecurity and data privacy.

In addition to her litigation practice, Taylor advises clients on estate planning and probate matters and assists individuals, families, and businesses with a variety of immigration-related matters. Her diverse practice enables her to provide comprehensive counsel across a wide range of legal issues affecting both businesses and individuals.

Prior to joining Adams & Reese, Taylor gained experience working on complex litigation matters involving commercial disputes, maritime law, insurance coverage, labor and employment matters, and medical malpractice defense. She is also proficient in video production and leverages technology to create effective client presentations, trial exhibits, and courtroom demonstratives both in and out of the courtroom.

Taylor earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she served as Chief of Staff of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law and President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. She received awards in Legal Research and Writing and earned a Certificate in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.

Taylor earned her B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Data Analytics from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business, with a minor in Statistics.

A New Orleans native, Taylor remains active in the community through her volunteer work with St. Joseph Mission Vietnamese Church, where she assists with fundraising initiatives and parish events.
